LPN- ASSISTED LIVING -Night Shift(6:00PM-6:00AM)

Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as scheduled

Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our overnight team. In this role, you will ensure the well-being of our residents by administering medications, assisting with ADLs, and coordinating care. You will also be responsible for triaging calls from other assisted living buildings between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and regulatory guidelines
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate with appropriate medical staff
- Triage incoming calls from other assisted living buildings between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM, offering clinical guidance and support
- Accurately document all care and communication in a timely manner
- Build meaningful connections with residents and contribute to a positive, supportive environment
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing
- CPR certification
- Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
